Last Monday I was in Washington DC at a meeting with Bronson and Mimi Van Wyck.

Winter Get-aways
During these cold winter months we all want to get away to someplace warm and sunny.
Two very special places I have been to recently are the Tides in Miami and the Viceroy in Palm Springs.
Both hotels are designed by Kelly Werstler, one of my very favorite designers. She is incredibly talented with hotel design. The lobbies and entertainment spaces are magical and full of beautiful fabrics and objects.

50th Birthday in Greenwich
Here are some great pictures of a 50th birthday party we just coordinated. The client has a beautiful historic barn on their property which is great party space.
There was absolutely nothing in the barn… so we could completely create our own concept. The theme was to design a hunting lodge atmosphere. Van Wyck & Van Wyck helped to achieve the absolute perfect look.
We brought in elk chandeliers, taxidermy of different types of animals, comfortable banquets for seating and lots of plaid and animal skins. We even had a suckling pig, chicken pot pies and corn pudding…yummy!!
