Palm Beach Preservation Dinner

The annual Preservation Society Ball marked the Foundation’s 30th Annual Dinner Dance. The evening centered around the traditional symbol of the pearl. A mermaid blowing bubbles greeted guests as they arrived for cocktails. Scott Snyder transformed The Venetian Room into a pearl paradise complete with silver palm trees and pearl encrusted coconuts.

Palm Beach Dinner

Scott Snyder designed and hosted a dinner in honor of Audrey Gruss, Founder of the Hope for Depression Research Foundation, to kick off the “Hope-Art-of-Design” weekend in Palm Beach.

Spring was in the air when Scott transformed the room at Club Colette into a bright garden of yellow blooms. Fresh daffodils, tulips and forsythia erupted from blue and white Chinese vases.

Continuing the Asian motif was the custom menu of Chinese dumplings, Peking duck, jasmine rice and snow peas followed by delicious ginger-lychee sundaes. The grand finale was a special surprise cabaret performance, straight from LA, by Emily Bergl.

Asian Influence

Here is a Labor Day party we did. The party had a casual buffet, raw bar, and lounging on the lawn. The theme was Asian, the tent and food were Asian inspired. Lighting by Greg Yale with huge helium balloons filled with light floating above the tent and the lawn where guests had cocktails. Bill Tansey, the designer used lots of bamboo panels and bright orchids with bamboo chairs.
